Week Three: Third Short Story

Two weeks down, fifty more to go!

This week’s prompt: grab the nearest book, magazine, or newspaper and open to a random page. Your story will begin with the first line at the top of the page, and close with the last line at the bottom of the page.

In my case, the nearest book was The Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. The page: 102. First line: “’Oh … er, really?’ said Arthur, who was beginning to find the man’s curious, kindly manner disconcerting.” Last line: “‘Is that robot yours?’ he said.”

Onward and upward!
